When a virus took over the planet, turning men into monsters who still retain their minds and faces, a young boy and his family descended into the earth and built a community underground. Two centuries later, the world above the surface is a desolate wasteland- devoid of love and full of monsters, but the pack survives and seeks for a way to fight the virus and return to the surface. Above ground, a scientist looks for a vaccine or a cure, alone within a sanctuary which once housed a community of survivors.
